Not only can you eat them, but you can harvest them older, brown and those dried out gourds are perfect exfoliating sponges! You do have to clean them in a slightly-sanitized solution, so it's clean and won't break down in the shower.
Zucchini's are sometimes hard to grow here in humid South Florida, so this is the perfect solution! Later in the summer, you'll see them start to flower and fruit all over! I don't know where they get that idea from, but it takes much longer - six to 10 years for harvest size - so you're spending a lot of time and money before you ever sell your product.
